    About Derek Kearns

    Sports and fitness have always been a passion for me and after several years working on the business side of sports I decided to shift gears into personal training. 

    The idea of making a positive impact on people’s wellness and building a career in the fitness industry was very appealing. I have a passion for powerlifting, weightlifting and I've completed more than 10 competitive obstacle course races. Growing up I played many competitive sports including college hockey.

    I have been personal training since 2011 and in 2016 I launched my own personal training business with the goal to fully embrace technology in order to create a better client experience and positively impact more people.

    About Sandra McCallum
     
    Hi, I’m Sandra and I’m excited to support you in being more physically active! I am an honours graduate of the NAIT Personal Fitness Trainer program, CSEP Certified Personal Trainer, and NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist. 
     
    While I have always made an effort to be active, in late 2018 I injured my lower back and was in severe pain for over a year and a half. I tried many therapies, but exercise and strengthening is what finally helped me overcome my pain and regain my quality of life. It led me to learn everything I could to help others feel their best through physical activity: Proof that you can overcome obstacles and build new habits at any stage. Did I mention I’m also a mom of three?

    About Robbie Holmes

    Since graduating from NAIT's Personal Fitness Trainer program in 2001 I have been personal training full time in a multitude of different areas. My regular clientele are in the work force and are looking to improve their health and wellness. I also have a passion for all sports especially hockey and golf. For 5 years I was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Edmonton Oil Kings of the WHL and won a Memorial Cup in 2014! Along with athletics, I specialize in Olympic and Power lifting which can be incorporated into my regular hours or my athletic clients.

    About Robyn Fries

    Hey! My name is Robyn and I am  a 22 year old wellness coach & personal trainer certified through the International Sports Science Association!

    I was born and raised on a farm and grew up living a very active lifestyle. Throughout Jr high and high school I ran ultra marathons and played a variety of sports.  When college came around I started to struggle with my weight and eating habits. Keeping active and eating properly were not my top priorities. At the time I didn’t know the connection that our gut and brain have with one another. I was experiencing low energy levels, weight gain, and had little to no motivation for any physical activity. I’ve come to realize that this was a major stepping stone in my life & career and I’m incredibly grateful for the knowledge I gained throughout the process!

    My approach to training is oriented around the wellbeing of my clients and making sure they feel comfortable in their skin . My goal is to educate my clients with the all of the fitness and nutritional information they need in order to live a more healthy & happy lifestyle! I want my clients to feel healthy, strong, confident, and above all, truly happy in their skin. Self love is truly so important and I plan to help as many people as I can fall in love with their bodies and feel their absolute best!
